This post is dedicated to amazing resources or “friends” that range from help to creating your family to just help feeling more like yourself!

The first resource I want to feature is RG Adoption Consulting. Rebecca Gruenspan, the founder, went through fertility struggles herself. She learned a lot about herself and the adoption process on her own journey to being a mom. That journey inspired her to start her own business helping others navigate the adoption process. Rebecca is an amazing story of how struggle can turn into strength. She is a wealth of knowledge with a warm heart, ready to help anyone realize their dream of becoming a parent!
You can read more about Rebecca and RG Adoption Consulting in the feature in Today’s Chicago Woman.

The next resource is Pathquest. Barbara Watt is a cranial sacral therapist and coach. She helps clients regain balance, focus, and clarity in their lives physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve gone to Barbara for treatment personally and can attest her work is amazing. I was having pain in my lower back and hip, especially while running, and after just two sessions felt significantly different. She helped me see that the tightness and pain I was experiencing was stress getting “stuck” in my body, once I knew the cause, I was able to address it in everyday life and since then my running has been back on track.

The next resource is Sharp Mamas. Dara Tarkowski (aka Mama Dara), along with her partner “Mama Kel” founded a personalized concierge service that guides you through every stage of becoming a parent, providing practical education and insight. Dara used her own experiences (and frustrations) of navigating infertility all the way to having her babies be in the NICU, and trying to learn all she could to prepare herself for the whirlwind of motherhood, to inspire her business.

I will be highlighting more “friends” in upcoming blogs but wanted to point out a couple final online resources. The first is Fertility Authority; a one-stop shop for all things fertility. They are a comprehensive, interactive online network for women (and men) seeking fertility and infertility information, advice, referrals, and appointments. They also launched two new financing programs, Egg Banxx and IVF Advantage. The second is The Infertility Voice by Keiko Zoll. Keiko an “infertility survivor” herself, started by writing about her own struggle and has turned that into a movement. The site features her blog, her followers stories, resources, and so much more! I invite you to check them out!!!
