Focus, focus, focus. As you ramble through these shows, you’ll see those nasty……… powerboats! Wear your blinders, shield your spouses and children’s eyes and ears and hurry past them. The joshing between sail and powerboats has been relentless agelessly, they call us rag-baggers, we call them stink-potters, all in jest.
This will give you the chance to meet some of the schools mentioned in previous blogs and other entry points identified into sailing. A family of 4 will spend at most $30 to get into any of these shows, and one of them is free. The entry into sailing is affordable, and the doors wide open. Have a day outside, go kick some tires (fenders? bumpers?) and learn from expert boat dealers about boat ownership. What will you see?
