spouse...we'll share our stories here. We'll also give you information

What do we do about it? We run with heart to raise awareness and raise funds!

Here's where the money goes...

Research - More than $2.7 billion
cardiovascular research funded since 1940; over $150 million funded
nationwide in 2006-07. We've set a goal to raise $200,000 this year.
That will fund 8 researchers for a year.

Research has contributed
to many medical advances such as CPR, life extending drugs, pacemakers,
bypass surgery, the heart-lung machine and surgical techniques to
repair heart defects.

Health Initiatives - Prevention, Emergency Care, Treatment

Advocacy - Speaking Out on Health Issues
