OK, now it's a must win for the Hawks

Last night’s overtime loss in Montreal will be memorable for a lot of reasons.  It will be memorable for Corey Crawford, who returned home and stood on his head in front of his family and friends.  It will be memorable for PK Subban, who’s overtime winner clinched a playoff spot for the Habs, and it... Hawks winger and fan favorite Adam Burish has signed with the Dallas Stars.  The Hawks failed to tender him an offer, and he was signed as an unrestricted free agent.  Burish had 4 points in 18 regular season games last season for the Hawks, and was held scoreless in 15 playoff games.

As I was at the United Center watching the Bulls in person (yawn), the Hawks and Stars were battling it out.   I had taken all the proper actions to not get the score of the Hawks game, as I had texted all my Hawk buddies and set the DVR.  That was until my friend... Read more »

Hawks can't overcome more Huet softies

Is this story getting repetitive?  The Hawks dominated much of Saturday night’s 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars.  Cristobal Huet let in two more bad goals, and it spelled doom for the Blackhawks.  The first soft goal was an unscreened, long range slap shot from Toby Peterson that beat Huet short glove side, giving the...
