All By Myself : My Game Six Experience
No Blackhawk fan will ever forget where they were June 24th, 2013…the night the Blackhawks captured their second Stanley Cup Championship in four seasons. Maybe you were one of the fortunate souls at the Garden in Boston, like my 670 The Score compatriots Dan McNeil and Matt Spiegel. Perhaps you were arm and arm with... Read more »
Quenneville has options if Toews can't play in Game 6
Saturday night in Chicago, the Blackhawks put together their most complete effort of the Stanley Cup Final so far. There was no dominating period like in Game Two, but for close 60 minutes, the Hawks dictated play and remained aggressive. In the end, the Hawks would take Game Five 3-1, and are now one win... Buckle up, Hawk fans...it's going to be a long series
It’s never easy to win a Stanley Cup. When the Blackhawks won it in 2010, maybe it seemed too easy. That memorable season, the Hawks had their share of scares in the playoffs, but did it ever really feel like they wouldn’t win? Not to me. The Hawks were so much better, so much deeper... Read more »

Toews wins Selke Trophy
Friday, the NHL announced that Blackhawk captain Jonathan Toews has won the 2013 Frank J. Selke Memorial Trophy. The Selke is given annually to the forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game. Toews finished this season with a plus-28 rating, good for third best in the NHL. Crawford has finally erased all doubt
It’s finally happened. At least I think it has. For most of the 2013 hockey season, a large vocal portion of Blackhawk fans and critics have been critical of Corey Crawford. Never mind the fact that his 1.94 goals against average was good for third among goalies in the regular season. His save percentage of... Read more »
Drop the puck! Game One is almost here
A lot of things are on my mind before tonight’s Game One of the Stanley Cup Final, so I’ll just go point to point and you can sort out my insane ramblings. – I don’t like the fact that Brandon Bollig is in the lineup over Viktor Stalberg. I know Stalberg hasn’t exactly set the... Read more »

Predictions for the 2013 NHL season
With less than 24 hours remaining in our hockey-less lives…I thought I’d share my predictions for the upcoming season. Western Conference Playoff Teams 1. Vancouver Canucks – Yes…Ryan Kesler’s injured hip will keep him out, and for a long time, but the weak Northwest Division will put the Canucks on top of the West again.... Read more »
Healthy Hossa looking dominant again
Maybe it’s all of the working out he does, but Marian Hossa looks like a new guy. When the Blackhawks signed him in the summer of 2009, I was ecstatic. Hossa was the final piece of the Stanley Cup puzzle, and it worked. However, many fans became concerned with Hossa on the long term. Before... Read more »

Over the last few weeks, TSN.ca, Canada’s answer to ESPN.com, has been running a promotion called “Franchise Faceoff”.
