Corey Crawford to start Monday in Buffalo

Corey Crawford will get his first start of the season tonight when the Blackhawks take on the Buffalo Sabres.  In 8 NHL games, Crawford has a 1-3 record, with a 2.60 GAA and a .909 save percentage.  This is his first stint as the Blackhawks “official” backup goaltender.

Niemi signs one year deal with Sharks
