My top 20 pet stories of 2014

2014 has been quite a year for me. I started a new job, which slowed down my blogging a bit…but it didn’t stop my blog from having an impact. I had my most read blog ever and two other posts opened up key public debate on Naperville and helped derail a state law that would have been bad news for animal rescue in Illinois.

As my blog continues, I’m amazed everyday at how many people read, share and comment, including puppy millers and their breeder apologists. Here are my top 20 pet stories of 2014 (including 12 stories related to the puppy mill issue…must be why so many of them attempt to read my blog).

Have you been missing my blog posts on Facebook? Yes, Facebook has been playing with our feeds again…so, the best way to make sure you don’t miss a post is to subscribe to my feed below. Fill in your email, then click the button below and you’ll get updates as my posts go live.

    Raining Cats and Dogs

I am a crazy cat lady and puppy mill warrior that blogs to advocate and educate about pet issues. In American animal controls, millions of pets are abandoned each year and an estimated 4 million die just because there are not enough homes. It truly seems like it’s Raining Cats and Dogs.
