Pratt puppy mill rescue finds home for Thanksgiving
A happy ending for one of the rescues from Debra Pratt's mill. Just in time for the holidays.

Why do rescue people do what they do? For happy endings like this dog that was rescued seven months ago from the Pratt Puppy Mill in Iowa. Seven months of TLC in an Iowa shelter = a forever home for Thanksgiving. The report below aired on WHO-TV in Des Moines yesterday complete with video from the auction at Debra Pratt’s Iowa puppy mill.

Thank you WHO-TV for the great story.

Here’s a link to the original story, Victor’s story, the story of the mill “shut down” and this week’s update about the Pratt puppy mill.

    Raining Cats and Dogs

I am a crazy cat lady and puppy mill warrior that blogs to advocate and educate about pet issues. In American animal controls, millions of pets are abandoned each year and an estimated 4 million die just because there are not enough homes. It truly seems like it’s Raining Cats and Dogs.
