DIY Literary table runner for the book club win - a step by step tutorial

I love reading books and I love sewing. Obviously, I am not alone as Heather Givans of Crimson Tate designed a fabric line called literary and it’s all about books and reading. I bought a bundle of fat quarters and some yardage. Then I wished I could make quilts, clothes and more quilts out of it.

Finally, I settled down and thought about the perfect project. Hmmm, I belong to two cook clubs. One meets at my house 3 times a year and the other every year or so.

I find myself making table runners for specific books and then never having a reason to use them again. Suddenly it struck me, I could create a Literary table runner for the book club win! It would fit all the book clubs!

Once you see how darn cute it is, you will want one also. Trust me. Here is a step by step tutorial so you can do just that.

Sew happy! Read happy!
