Last month a member of my guild demonstrated how to embellish a pieced project with paint and markers. Our challenge was to then try out this new skill and bring in our results. I decided to start small and embellish a PARTY dish towel.
I figured if I messed it up too badly I would just cut off the pieced cake and start all over with a new towel. Luckily I didn’t have to do that! I was able to fix all my mistakes.
Flip through the gallery and see how I embellished with fabric paint and markers.
Sew happy!

This dish towel is a variation of others I have made. You can check out those tutorials here and here. Wait, here’s another one.
