As you know, I find many things funny. I like to poke fun at myself, make light of situations and create absurdities that make me laugh. It’s probably good that I laugh at my jokes because then there is at least someone laughing!
The first time I saw a #firstworldproblem meme, I thought it was hilarious. I can get myself annoyed about something that is crazy, not really a problem at all. Here is the first one I saw. Not all that I have seen since then have been as funny but here’s a site with some clever ones.
I was thinking about gratitude as it is Thanksgiving week and that seems to relate to these memes. But it makes it funny and you laugh your way into gratitude. I decided to create my own # First world Quilter problems in memes for a chuckle or two before we eat turkey.
Are you ready? You promise not to throw things at me? Well, actually you can throw fabric.
Can you imagine? I say, take it back. Immediately!
Computer problems are all first world problems, yes? But that doesn’t make me not whine about them!
I’ve been guilty of this kind of obsession.
I do like my Aurifil. Maybe this one is legit? Just kidding!
I swear I have actually heard people complain about this. It made me laugh.
I do like donuts. Or do you write doughnuts?
Then don’t bring it with or be generous, duh!
First World Quilter problems remind me that really, I don’t have any real problems. I can remember grumbling about doing laundry right after the Tsunami in Japan. I thought of how those people would love to be able to do laundry and it changed my whole attitude.
But it’s fun to make jokes about it and laugh our way to Thanksgiving. I wish you all nothing but First World Quilter Problems this week and as long as you sew.
Just remember the sprinkles next time, OK?
