I am stuck sewingwise. My head is in a vortex of ideas that haven’t settled out. I go up to the sewing room and I cannot start a new project.
I am making another glasses case. Why? Because I already made one and it is an attempt to jump start my sewing brain. I don’t have to think about it, just sew. Maybe if I am seeing something come to life with my hands, it will communicate to my brain.
I also have another heart quilt on my quilting frame. My girlfriend Gina and I each exchanged heart blocks for almost five years and I made mine into a quilt last April. It was my 100th quilt and you can read about it right here.
I am hoping that action will lead to a definite sewing plan. My brain just can’t come up with a Cuban design and it refuses to settle on anything else.
I need to repeat sewing projects until my head either calms down or opens up and lets me sew something new and creative.
Just writing about it is freeing for my creative spirit.
OK, enough obsessing about not sewing. I will report back when I am humming along with my sewing.
In the meantime, I hope you can Sew happy!
