Setting a budget friendly Thanksgiving Table

Have you ever looked at table setting ideas for Thanksgiving? Those tables are loaded with crystal, silver and fine china, they are amazing. I don’t own crystal or fine china, I have casual blue and white china, Hadley pottery, blue Fiestaware and my grandmother’s Noritake. I have don’t own silver, I have pewter. That’s OK, I like a more casual table and every year I have a great time setting a budget friendly Thanksgiving Table.

I reuse decorations. I repurpose dishes for centerpieces. I sew table runners. I pick things up on clearance and at the dollar store. I order my flowers when I order my food from Peapod. I want my table to look good and I want to save some money while doing it. I also want my tables to reflect the fall colors and look of autumn.

Flip through the photo album and see if I don’t have fun tables which reflect the season that also don’t break the budget! Now, who wants to cook the dinner? Kidding. (No, I’m not really if you’re willing.)

Here is last year’s post from the day after Thanksgiving where you can see the table runner and one table a little more clearly.
