Have you flipped through the heart blocks gallery at the bottom of this post? Which one is your favorite? Mine is the very last one, there is just something about the fabric that really pleases my eye.
You will notice there are 12 blocks, all different. I only made 6 of them and my friend Gina made six of them also. Each one we made, we doubled and then gave each other heart blocks for Christmas and Birthday presents. It is a very fun way to create matching Friendship quilts. We have done it twice before. Once for blue and white mug blocks, which was our first one. And then for red and green Christmas blocks.
Isn’t it fun to see the different ways that you can make the same block? We got the pattern from for free from the internet. Now that we have all twelve blocks I am going to make sure that they are about the same size, trimming them as needed. I will post in the future the next steps for the quilt! See you in a couple of days!
