Pence revealed that his "freedom agenda" also seeks to prevent transgender athletes from participating in sports against the gender with which they identify.

When I listen to Pence, former Veep,

I get drowsy and feel I could sleep.

So if restless in bed

I’d replay him instead

And not bother to count any sheep.

    Wake me up at the end of the verse ;-)
    Various media outlets say there is an anyone but Orange Baby [Neil Steinberg's term today] in the GOP (not that I believe it), but CNN had one commentary that Pence isn't it.

    I have no idea what boredom means, but your point about Pence's voice reminds me that there is some room to figure it out.

    Just to let you know that I started the creative writing group I mentioned under "How Do I Break a Writer's Block?," and recited the above, giving proper attribution, of course.

    This week's project was Haiku, and since the handout was entitled "How to Write a Japanese Haiku," I wrote a Polish one.

    For next week, I copped Wednesday's Final Jeopardy category "Real People in Poetry." Now I'm off to find something that rhymes with "relationship."
