Republicans Turn Their Backs On January Six Heroes in Blue

Republicans vow that they back those in Blue

That is, the police, and the good that they do.

But the cops on One-Six?

The Right puts the nix

On honoring their valor and saying “Thank You!”

  • As I noted about a month ago, nothing happened--according to the fascists. Either Officer Fanone or the members of Congress he saved were on something.

  • Well-said, AW! It was never about Blue Lives Matter, was it....

  • This is terribly sad. I once considered myself a conservative and loved reading George Will and his ilk. But conservatism has changed away from me. Call me independent. I thought that Jan. 6 was a horror show, a political Pearl Harbor.

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

As people such as John McCain, George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Mona Charen, Adam Kinzinger, Liz Chaney, etc. point out, the current Republican Party has nothing to do with Cpnservatism, but is a cult of personality that feels compelled to cater to its diminishing base of persons disconnected from reality, and hence must resort to voter suppression to attempt to stay in power.

  • Blue lives were shattered
    From Portland to Chicago
    Where was the Quark then
    when it so mattered?
    Alas, we do not know,
    nothing was written on them
    Now he finds Blue Heroes
When it fits the politics he knows.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

Hey chef dick, speaking of hypocrisy, where are you now? Ready to denounce those who assaulted the Capitol and D.C. Metro police, or sticking your head in the sand and engaging in the kind of diversion and projection as Congresswoman Stefanick, who blamed Nancy Pelosi for the insurrection?

I have 100 to 1 at PointsBet that you won't give a direct answer here.

If you want my position, I have asked several motormouths supposedly soliciting for police benefit funds whether the funds support Derrick Chauvin and Jason Van Dyke. They don't answer, either.

  • In reply to jack:

    Jack, Jack
    As mad as can be
    Fact, fact,
    "they don't matter to me"
    Jack, Jack,
    Always ready to attack,
    Probably because of his little...thing.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

    At least.......
    1. Mine isn't named Little Chef Dick.
    2. I win my bet. You trolls of the right are so predictable. PAY UP.

  • In reply to jack:

    Jack is not really lazy
    but he sure is crazy
    He makes bets of one
Then wants me to pay a ton.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

BTW, chef, read Bob Abrams and tell us if you are Just Plain Stupid.

  • In reply to jack:

    Read the Tirade
    Another angry boy
    for info that's made
    for boys with little toys.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

See my comment above. What, if anything, do you read?

  • my friend's step-aunt makes $70 an hour on the computer . She has been without a job for 5 months but last month her pay was $18819 just working on the computer for a few hours. look at here ➨➨➨➨➨➨➨➨➨➨➨ www.Works73.com

  • In reply to jebibid333:

Richard signed up. He's admitted that he's among the Stupid People.

  • In reply to jack:

Living in Jack's brain is so much fun
He sputters and spits until he is done
    Calling others stupid and more
    Nothing changes, same as before.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

I see Little Chef Dick is dexterous by itself that it can type without using the hands on other parts of the same body.

You know you can't flame me. Why do you even try? You just confirmed that Little Chef Dick is not one of the Stupid People but one of the Stupid Appendages.

  • In reply to jack:

    Jack pretends and pretends
that my words do not offend
But they do and he cries
Which makes me go on with tries.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

If you fail, just try try again, and you failed again.

And to get back to the point, you haven't stated anything responsive to the main question---your view of the Capitol and DC Metro police. Given your past views, I'm sure you are with those about whom Officer Dunn testified "One woman in a pink 'MAGA' shirt yelled, 'You hear that, guys, this nigger voted for Joe Biden! Then the crowd, perhaps around twenty people, joined in, screaming 'Boo! Fucking nigger!'

  • In reply to jack:

Jack needs to know if I back the Blue
on that fateful day of January and six
No officer should be beaten or hurt
as that is no way a problem to fix
Too bad Jack is blind to the beaten Blue
of Portland and Chicago and other cities too
He foams and he spits and calls names
but when it comes to his politics he knows no shame.

  • In reply to Richard Davis:

Aside from the copious typographic diarrhea, it only took you over a day to answer a direct question. I suppose you will be much quicker in denouncing those who referred to Officer Dunn in that manner, as well as the Congresscreatures about whom Officer Fanone referred, all of whom have no shame.

  • Aw, you make a good point. The feedback you are getting from the MAGA wing shows you hit a nerve. I wonder if the Blue Lives Matter flags will play such a prominent roll in future Trump torchlight rallies.

  • In reply to jnorto:

Of course I meant to address you as AW.

  • In reply to jnorto:

    Either works.
