Gone South: Reflections on Trump's post-presidency

Under Florida’s sun Trump lies.

Big or little, any size.

Friends and family say it’s just him.

We know better. Never trust him.

Let him bite a burger, fry.

Let him sleep and let him lie.

  • The third panel of today's Pearls Before Swine illustrates the inherent ambiguity in this, although not in this direction.

The real question was how PINK Natalie Biden's coat and mask were.

I personally no longer have interest in the ORANGE Toad that decided to live near the Alheimer's patient in the right pane.

  • In reply to jack:

The right wing media seems to also have lost interest in the Orange Toad. They are now preoccupied with gotcha journalism, trying to prove Biden violated his own mask executive order when he was seen without a mask at the Lincoln Memorial.

  • In reply to jnorto:

Yes, I read that in Byrne's most recent post. Pathetic.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

    As I said above....

  • In reply to jnorto:

What's a guy going to do? About everywhere he is is federal property.

  • In reply to jack:

Yeah, precisely. Adding to the confusion is that "lay" is the past tense of "lie" meaning to recline.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

I may have something to catch up on reading, from the look of the comments, but I love your punny use of "lie" in the present tense here. Well done. I hope you enjoy some harder hunts for material, now.

  • It was mentioned on the news last night that the Press Secretary was going to make a statement, and I reflexively reacted "not another statement from a graduate of the Joseph Goebbels Schule von Haufen Mist." Hopefully not this time.
