On the Trump presidency: When does the camel break its back?

We haven’t seen his tax returns;

He’s lied a myriad times

Of mistresses the nation learns;

Has he committed high crimes?

He’s added to the Beltway swamp;

He savages the rule of  law.

At the bits of war he loves to chomp

And nothing has been the last straw.

  • This is similar to several Washington Post articles and columns that Sarah Huckabee can't lose her credibility, because she never had any.

    The last straw, of course, is when he fires Mueller and Rosenstein, and then even the tea party hacks in the House have to vote impeachment. But as dumb as those dodos are, maybe not even then, but it is less than one year for this Congress.

    But it does look like something broke the back of several trolls.

    BTW, I see that Jennifer Rubin took the opposite tack of mine in her headline that "Trump throws Giuliani under the bus " However, unlike me, she didn't say what transit authority's bus, and she actually supports my point by saying "Giuliani recanted Friday afternoon, effectively admitting that the statements he had made over the past 36 hours or so were incriminating." Since all of da Donald's friends are like this, he don't need no enemies.

  • Even small straws have a cumulative weight. It could be a long, hot summer politically as well as meteorologically.
