Trump: Misspeller-in-chief

“’Our great country has been divided for decade, but it will come together again. Sometimes protest is needed in order to heel, and heel we will,’ Trump tweeted a little after 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. He quickly deleted that version to post a revision. Unfortunately, that too used ‘heel’ instead of ‘heal.'”  []

Trump confuses ‘heal’ and ‘heel’

How embarrassed he should feel.

He meant the first of course, to cure.

The other is, like him, a cur.

  • He meant 'heel' as in Ivanka will put her stiletto heel through your throat.

But in a sense I sympathize with him. I got a tablet a couple of months ago and soon realized that I had to turn off all the autocorrect and autosuggest settings. Also Microsoft Office for Android is a bear.

The real problem is that when Gen. Kelly tries to take away his iPhone, sonny has a tantrum and the Gen. gives it back.

  • In reply to jack:

No, he meant "heel" as in the canine command.

  • An interesting one on WGN Noon News: Due to Trump taking too many vacations and having too many relatives to protect, the Secret Service has hit caps on how much agents can earn and how much overtime they can work. Does this give believers of the core principle of the Second Amendment an opening?

  • How embarrassed he should feel, indeed... about so much!

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

I assume this should be the least for. Governing by Twitter starts off as a bad idea. I doubt that impeccable diction in 140 characters would have helped much, where the underlying thought process is lacking.
