Trump will keep Scaramucci on a short leash

Anthony Scaramucci, his friends call him Mooch,

Concluded his press briefing blowing a smooch.

His debut was nicer

Than that of Sean Spicer,

But he’s really another Trump pooch.

  • Apparently he's only Huckabee Jr.'s boss and won't be behind a slide on CNN and FNC at 2 ET.

  • Same old same old Internet: Mooch deleted inconvenient tweets but they were quickly recirculated.

  • Scaramucci was supposed to bring some consistency to White House messaging, but WaPo is reporting that he, Huckabee and Trump's lawyer Sekulow managed to deliver muddled messages in today's morning talk programs on both Russian sanctions and presidential pardoning power. Not a promising beginning, but he is a better television personality than Spicer.

  • In reply to jnorto:

Still the inherent problem that it is impossible to cover for a bloviating liar whom they can't pry away from late night twitter rants. As you indicated, his only function is to give less material to SNL.

Also, as I indicated in comment #2, Mooch has a hard enough problem distancing himself from himself.
