Scaramucci-Priebus feud is of biblical proportions

“Scaramucci tweets, deletes, compares his and Priebus’ relationship to Cain and Abel”  [chicagotribune.com]

Though he’s been on the job less than weeks,

Scaramucci’s quite tough when he speaks.

Himself he would label

The  innocent Abel

And Reince Priebus the Cain of the leaks.

  • I was going to ask, since you are in a better position to answer this one.
Previously, Mooch (not the cat in Mutts), said:
“This is the problem with the leaking. This is actually a terrible thing. Let’s say I’m firing Michael Short today. The fact that you guys know about it before he does really upsets me as a human being and as a Roman Catholic.”

Then it was reported that he was the one who told Politico, and somehow was delayed in telling Short.

Did St. Thomas Aquinas have a position on an obvious hypocrite who sold his soul to the orange devil and thinks he can cover his tracks by deleting tweets? Is there a certain burning corner of Hell for people like him?

  • In reply to jack:

St. Thomas thought hypocrisy was a perversion of the truth and an offense against God who is absolute Truth.

BTW, I like Hannah Arendt's description of hypocrites as being "rotten to the core".

Scaramucci seems to think 'leaking' is a sin found in the catechism of Catholicism, which evidently he never learned in his spiritual development.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

    Perv seems to summarize it.

  • While you are consulting with the St., maybe you can also ask him this one:

Sun Times article on "Fraudster gets 70 months for ‘mammoth’ scam on girlfriend’s family" where someone got his girlfriend's parents to invest in his nonexistent investment algorithm.

    Anyway, near the end:

Rye’s father, Vernon Rye, told the judge his son struggles with Attention Deficit Disorder, and he was raised around Catholicism and an environment “that fostered participation in philanthropy.”

Apparently only difference is that he was arrested while about 30 years younger than Mooch.

  • Mooch must be chaos just for clown show sake. Priebus may be an old Ryan operative who got the job for supporting da Donald, but I wonder how the Bannonites are taking to Mooch attacking Bannon.

In the meantime, there are reports today that Twitter membership is down.

  • In reply to jack:

There would be another steep drop if Trump decided to stop.
