The Mayor of London demonstrates the leadership qualities Trump sorely lacks

khan

“Sadiq Khan[Mayor of London] has showed calm and dignified resolve in the face of these cowardly terrorist attacks. He is more of a statesman than Trump will ever be.”   [Tim Farron, leader of Britain’s Liberal Party quoted on cnbc.com]

Trump called him “pathetic”, the Mayor of London,

Who’s acted with grace under pressure.

Now Britain’s  another place  Trump  finds he’s shunned in;

Even cats now frown at  him  in Cheshire.

  • Washington Post has an article on its banner on all the places his effigy is exploded, including in Effigy.

Then there is the garbage that Kelly Conwoman says to ignore the lunatic's tweets, while Melissa Spicer says they are official. But Hippy Shakes points out the problems in Kelly's house. If her husband doesn't want to be the administration, and dissed the fearless leader in a tweet, no one should.

I'm still waiting for someone to invoke the 25th Amendment. It hasn't happened yet,but wait until Comey testifies. Or wait until the Supreme Court throws out the appeal on the TRAVEL BAN.

  • Trump seems to have particular difficulties with people named Khan. Remember Khizr Kahn, whom Trump castigated last July for their words about their fallen U.S. Army captain son?

On the other hand, Trump might find Genghis Khan a kindred spirit.

  • In reply to jnorto:

He might have ridden side-saddle with Genghis. How about Roy Cohn, his former lawyer and mentor?

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

    See below for an explanation.
Not sure about anyone's position on Tarik Cohen.

  • In reply to jnorto:

The first 2 Khans are Muslim, which explains it.

I'm not sure of his position on Madeline Kahn, but then he would again have to deny that he is an anti-Semite.

  • Thank you so much. "Pathetic" in this case calls to mind the pot and the kettle. Mayor Khan appears to be handling this wonderfully; how foreign to us! For someone who was in New York City early in the millennium -- do I need to mention the year? -- to be as forgetful as this president is boggles my mind.

  • In the political field, we definitely need good and effective leadership skills, so that we can easily handle big diplomatic issues and taking effective decisions. In different countries, we have found different circumstances to show our leadership skills, especially in politics we need good and effective leadership skills.
