Rubio snatches victory from the jaws of defeat. Not.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio smiles while speaking at a caucus night rally in Des Moines, Iowa.

Won’t  someone tell him he was third?

Though he speaks like this never occurred.

Mr Rubio, perhaps,

Doing victory laps

After losing makes you look absurd.

  • 1. Somehow Cruz got the percentage CNN predicted for its candidate, who was not a winner, but came about a point ahead of Rubio.
    2. Rubio has pretty much eliminated the governor candidates, and can take on the Canadian one on one.
    3. Lynn Sweet figured out what I said several months ago:

Trump, who bragged constantly and obsessively about polling putting him in first, faced the reality of a second place finish decided by real voters – not surveys.

BTW, did Bernie win or lose last night, coming in a fraction of a vote under Hillary? And how were there only 1400 votes on the Dem side?

  • Depends on how you look at it. Some are calling it a virtual tie. Both got the same number of delegates, I believe. 15. Some are calling it a victory for Bernie because at the start of the campaign he was 60 or more points behind Hillary in Iowa.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

It's been reported that 6 of the caucases went down to a coin toss, Hillary won all 6...what a lucky gal...
