From the Schilling for Congress campaign (17th District)…
“Phil Hare Was Here” illustrates Hare’s failed jobs record
EAST MOLINE, IL–The Schilling campaign released their second commercial of the election cycle. “Phil Hare Was Here” clearly illustrates what four years of Phil Hare’s policies have done to the job climate in the 17th District.
Bobby Schilling: “I’m Bobby Schilling and I approve this message.”
Voice: “Phil Hare was here. Now our jobs are gone. Hare voted 98% with Nancy Pelosi, not with us. Phil Hare was here, and here, and here. Now Illinois ranks at the bottom in job creation. Hare says we’re heading in the right direction while running up record debt in Washington voting for more job crushing taxes on us.”
Phil Hare: “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
Voice: “Now Phil Hare tries to save his job. He should’ve tried saving ours.”
Communications Director Bobby Frederick said this commercial delivers a powerful message.
“This commercial asks voters to set politics aside and just look at the facts,” Frederick said. “Rep. Hare says our economy is moving in the right direction, but since he first got a taste of power in Washington our debt has increased by $5 trillion and unemployment has doubled. When is Hare going to take responsibility for his radical tax and spend agenda that kills jobs? Hare’s refusal to recognize that our economy is not moving in the right direction means he has clearly lost his grip on reality. It’s time for Phil Hare to stop obsessing about his own job and start focusing on the jobs of everyday Americans.”
