Wheeling Township Precinct Captain Karen Conway was the winner of the Matching Contribution contest for a two night stay at the Island Lake Resort in Mackinac Island. Bill Cadigan and Scott Kegaris won gift certificates to Ryba’s Fudge Shop at Navy Pier and McCormick Place. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our $10,000 goal. We still have a long way to go to fund our entire campaign budget but this contest was a good demonstration of our fundraising potential. Dan and a cadre of volunteers will be marching in the Buffalo Grove Labor Day parade on Sunday, September 5th at Noon.
