  • Sounds awesome dude.. are hoods required?

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

No hoods required because Democrats don't go to tea parties, there Mr. Grand Kleagle.

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

Nice, so everybody can show their faces without shame. These guys make us Jim Edgar type moderate Republicans look like Communists. Great way to get people elected don't you think?

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

We'll see in November, won't we? But, I wouldn't say that Jim Edgar Republicans are communists. Of course, they are not really Republicans, either. Jim Edgarists are merely powermongers interested solely in their good old boy network. They have no principles at all. In fact, I can respect a real communist far more than a Jim Edgar Republican because at least a real communist has principles. Jim Edgar Republicans are also George Ryanists. Corrupt to the core.

  • In reply to publiusforum:

Boy, you're really out there buddy. I challenge you to name anything corrupt about the Jim Edgar administration. Now George Ryan and Jim Thompson, I'll grant you them.

But why don't we go back and repeal Social Security, and while you're at it probably the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights act, and on and on. Are we all supposed to live with loaded weapons to defend ourselves from the hordes of the downtrodden in this country, who got there due to the biases and hatred of folks like you?

I just don't see any greater good coming from this type of hateful tripe. Just like Christians are becoming a smaller minority of the population, the far right will just continue to drive the Republican party further into irrelevancy, opening the way for 3rd party candidates in the middle.

All this talk about moderates not having positions is just more Rush Limbaugh spewage, and not original, sorry.

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

Just like the liberal you are always calling everyone else a racist. You have race on the brain, pal. It's a sickness with you.

  • In reply to publiusforum:

Hardly a liberal sport, but a registered Republican for over 30 years. Voted for Reagan twice, Bush, Dole, W twice and this time Obama who I'm actually quite proud to have as our President. Would have voted for Romney if he would have gotten past the Christian ignoramce. But you keep on lumping everybody into buckets if it helps you rationalize your view of the world.

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

You don't sound much like a Republican. There is no way you have Republican values, the way you spoke to the very unthreatening Publius Forum.

I love hypocrites like you. YOU come on here and immediately start calling everyone a racist, then you act all huffy and scold ME for "lumping everybody into buckets." With "Republicans" like you, no wonder Illinois' GOP is in such disarray!

  • In reply to Bumsteer:

Well, I had to register just to leave a comment for you...like I really have the time. Anyway, you are being quite ridiculous with your, as I see it, your hateful manner in which you supposedly try to have a conversation with Mr. Publius Forum. This is one of the many reasons I do support these tea parties. Not just for the expected reasons, but because they have every right to speak out about the wrongs of government. Which, by the way, are destroying not only our country, but our culture, our families, our hope for our children.
Instead of really discussing with him, you try to attack him with stabs, like implying he wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act and the voting rights act. So go ahead...put false words...unspoken words...in his mouth. More than likely, all of these things are also UNTHOUGHT words. It is not hateful tripe. It is people standing up for their children, OUR country. And to act like those who think like US are the ones who caused the downtrodden in this country! Enough said to you. You know how I feel. Shame on your tactics, for trying to make us feel that something is wrong with us, when in my heart, I know better. BTW...not all of us agree with every single person out there, such as Rush Limbaugh. I have favorites, based on my value system. So quit trying to lump us all into one pile of crap.
So, as you yourself said, I say to you. "Boy, you're really out there, Buddy."
