ACU has a list of Democrats that are undecided on healthcare. CALL THEM and tell them to vote “no.”

  • Hi
Just leaving a pity comment since no one seems to be paying any attention to your blog. Health care reform will pass despite the lies spread by conservatives like you. It may not be what progressives wanted but it's a significant first step for a program that was first proposed by Teddy Roosevelt. and the Bull Moose Party in 1912. Good things come to those who wait...and fight.

  • Neither need nor want any "pity" anything. This blog has only been live for three days, dude. Do you expect a million readers in three days??? I sure as heck don't!

    "I sure as heck don't!"
I urge you to not make yourself a victim of the soft bigotry of low expectations. I'm sure you will have dozens of readers agreeing with your crazy discredited ideas that have gotten this country into the mess we find ourselves in.

    sarcasm/on
Deregulation and tax cuts have just worked out so well for this country.
    sarcasm/off

BTW the American Hospital Association has just endorsed the health care reform bill. You need to make more calls if you want to stop the bill. Better get busy.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

Thanks for your intelligent, patriotic comment.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

Say. Tom Perriello just indicated he'll vote "yes" like an intelligent, patriotic American

If you are still trying to reach Harry Mitchell...

"Arizona Congressman Harry Mitchell, 1 of the final holdouts on the health care reform bill, announced Friday that he'll support the package."

    ...I would say "stop".

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

    Oh my.

    sarcasm/on
    I am SO sorry.

"U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey of Colorado says she will vote "yes" on a health-care reform package that Congress is likely to take up this weekend."

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

Maybe it's true that no one likes unsolicited phone calls. For sure Brad Ellsworth doesn't...

    http://www.wibc.com/news/Story.aspx?id=1208854
"Democratic U.S. Rep. Brad Ellsworth said Friday he will vote for the health care overhaul bill and was swayed to support the contentious legislation in part because it maintains restrictions on federal funding for abortion."

BTW take note of the respectful and grammatically correct use of "Democratic". Your side needs to learn some manners not to mention grammar.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

Gerry Connolly, Chris Carney, Allen Boyd, John Boccieri are now in the "YES" column on healthcare reform. I commend these patriotic, intelligent representatives.

For a blog that describes itself as "what's happening now" it has fallen woefully short of its hype- just like all discredited conservative "ideas".

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

Your childish, troll-worthy, left-wing personal insults aside (after all, that's all you socialists have is insults), I am glad you've given us these updates (rather obsessively, mind you) on the anti-Americans in Congress that are attempting to destroy our nation this weekend. It is useful info, for sure.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

"the anti-Americans in Congress that are attempting to destroy our nation this weekend"

The Surgeon General has declared that too much hyperbole is bad for the health of your writing skills. Eventually your meager writing skills will atrophy and die. You should really quit.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

I am always amused at how trolls have such high opinions of themselves. I am glad that you have good self esteem, though. If you are like most folks graduated from our fetid American school system, it's about all you DO have. But you have that going for you... which is nice.

  • In reply to SouthSideGT:

    "I am always amused"

Not as much as I am. I assure you.

    "our fetid American school system"

You are kidding yourself if you imagine that the problem with public schools is their odor.

But now that you mention it that odor you detect is the smell coming from the rotting corpse of thirty years of deregulation and tax cuts. Voters finally noticed it in 2006 and 2008 and decided to do something about it. Poor you.
