
Western Illinois senior Jamie Gilmore was chosen as a running back on the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer team.
Gilmore, a graduate transfer from Temple, played in 10 games for Western. He rushed for 157 yards and tied for second on the team with five rushing touchdowns. He caught 24 passes for 193 yards and two scores.
His season-high rushing came in the win at Missouri State, 42 yards with two rushing touchdowns, and he set season-highs of four catches for 45 yards. Gilmore matched his personal-high with four receptions against Indiana State and Southern Illinois as 23 of his 24 receptions occurred during the final seven games.
