46 year old Couture who is known as a keen strategist of the MMA game is a world-wide MMA favorite.  An admirable athlete and spokesperson for the sport, has demonstrated impressive skills in his wins and loses.  This 5 X UFC Champ always enters the cage in calculated shape.  He has evolved into a balanced MMA fighter, who no longer reverts to his wrestling mannerisms, but rather presents a completly integrated game.  He knows how to answer even the toughest situations which was proven in his last fight against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.  His opponent Vera comes out of San Diego, CA and off of two wins.  He has fought 5 times in the UK and draws in a local fan base.  A win over Couture would give him huge choices.  Vera promised fans the best Brandon Vera would be showing up on Saturday to meet Couture. Vera made people’s heads turn in 2006 when he beat Frank Mir in UFC 65 by TKO.  His losses have been to great fighters Fabricio Werdum and Keith Jardine.
Couture wins by submission.

Another clever match made by UFC.  Hardy a Nottingham resident is known to be an outspoken fighter and clearly going to have the fans cheering him on.  His style is exciting and is hopeful that a win in this welterweight bout will place him back in side the cage against GSP.  A similar type of background as GSP, a life-long traditional martial arts practitioner.  After his Tae Kwon Do days, he took to Muay Thai and even trained with Shaolin monks in China.  A true martial artist and accomplished in both the traditional and combative realms, Hardy brings kicking speed that will challenge the known hand speed of Swick.  Boosted as the fight of the night, Swick replaced Kim Dong-Hyun for tomorrow’s fight.  He is a White and UFC favorite who trains out of San Jose, CA.  Also a product of TUF show, Swick is meeting Hardy after a 4 win stretch, with 2 TKO and 2 decisions.  Neither fighter is known for savvy BJJ skills.
Hardy by decision.
Michael Bisping                Denis Kang

WT 185                            WT 185
Record 18-2-0                   Record  32-11-1
This will be a middleweight bout that will bring both fighters to an unbelievable test.  Kang, is not as recognized in the US MMA market, but a notable fighter from Canada, with unbelievable experience.  He trains with Jonathan Chaimberg, an extension of the Jackson Submission Camp out of New Mexico.  He was a Pride Grand Prix Finalist and should not be underestimated in any way shape or form.  He is well-rounded and demonstrates tremendous MMA star quality.  Bisping who is fighting in his backyard was the TUF Season 3 winner.  He is England’s MMA star.  You can count on his aggressive striking style to show itself.  Both fighters are known for their great conditioning.
Decision goes to Kang.
James Wilks                   Matt Brown

WT 170                           WT 170
Record 7-2-0                    Record 12-7-0
Brown a Midwesterner (Ohio) was on the 7th season of TUF.  Although he was eliminated by a triangle choke he has been working on his BJJ skills with respected Jorge Gurgel.  He is a Muay Thai stylist, but the TUF show displayed his weaknesses as a fighter.  Enough time has past that he should have evolved since then and offer a good performance.  Wilks, clearly going to be a fan favorite for this line-up is in his hometown. He has fought with the UFC 4 times since also being on the 7th season of TUF. TUF showed a more admirable English team training and their sport-manship.  Wilks was a clear winner of season 7 by a rear naked-choke.
Wilks in the first round wins.
Here is the undercard line-up.  I am not really sure if they truly plan on squeezing in this many fights.
