Continuing the support and effort to help reverse the growing problem of hunger today, the HEAR Foundation hosted its fourth annual HEAR FEEDS event on Saturday, November 6th, in Chicago. The distribution of food began in Chicago’s Englewood Neighborhood and wrapped up in the northern suburbs of Glenview, IL.
Co-chaired by Greg Antonucci, Jim Ziemba, Clare Johnston Kunkle, Robert Wise and Jim Weiss the event was a major success.
Also, to in attendance to give a helping hand for a wonderful cause were local celebrities DC Crenshaw (The Host of Game Time Dine), James Rhine (Reality Star Of Big Brother 6 & Big Brother All-Stars) and Justin Jacobson (CEO Platinum Events).
Over 40,000 pounds of chicken were donated to 42 Chicago organizations thanks to The HEAR Foundations FEEDS Program. To date, as a result of the tremendous response HEAR has provided over 300,000 meals to those in need & upon completion of reading this, HEAR will have provided 76,800 meals ready to be served this Thanksgiving Season HEAR in Chicago.
