Saturday’s card at Woodbine features the Grade 1 Canadian International, which drew a top-notch field of eleven, and should be a fantastic betting race. It’s the headliner of four stakes races, all of which drew intriguing fields and should make for excellent betting races, no matter whether you like to play intra-race exotics or multi-race wagers.
The day’s card features four guaranteed wagering pools:
$50,000 guaranteed early pick 5: starts in race 2.
$100,000 guaranteed early pick 4: starts in race 4
$100,000 guaranteed late pick 5: Starts in race 7
$200,000 guaranteed late pick 4: starts in race 8
There will also be an all-turf Pick 4, in conjunction with Keeneland Race Course. That wager includes the Canadian International (G1) and E. P. Taylor (G1) at Woodbine, and the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) and the 10th race (an N3X allowance that drew an overflow field, including Chicago regulars Crafty’s Way and Na Pali Spirit).
Our previews of Saturday’s four stakes races at Woodbine are here:
- Pattison Canadian International (G1)
- E. P. Taylor Stakes (G1)
- Nearctic Stakes (G2)
- Ontario Derby (G3)
