Blueby the parakeet is an active, talkative and fun budgie looking for a loving guardian.
I think this bird is a male due to his blue cere. This guy flew into a south side bus yard and was held at Chicago Animal Care and Control, for the required five days, waiting his former guardian to find him.
When he wasn’t claimed, he came to Friends of Petraits Rescue to find the family of his dreams.
Parakeets are the smallest of the parrot species and the most common captively kept pet bird. They are intelligent and trainable with patience.
Blueby’s adoption fee of $30 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He can be adopted with his spacious 23.5” wide by 16” tall by 16” long cage with toys, food, treats and perches for $100.
He is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. To meet and adopt this parakeet, please contact email@example.com.
