Wabash Arts Corridor wants your vote!

I have some exciting news and I hope you will share my enthusiasm. Wabash Arts Corridor (WAC) has been nominated for USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice 2021 Award for best arts district. I have been a fan of WAC for years and tickled pink for their well-deserved nomination.

Who is WAC?

For those who aren’t familiar with WAC, here’s some background information from their Facebook page. “In 2013, Columbia College Chicago launched the Wabash Arts Corridor to immerse students in the creative spirit by using urban spaces and reclaimable resources to revitalize and transform the South Loop business district into one of the city’s major cultural assets.”

“In just a few years, WAC has managed to connect students, artists, entrepreneurs, local businesses and commerce with educational and cultural programming for the visual, performing and media arts. The result has been the emergence of WAC as a key player in the city as an urban lab for creative expression, innovation and excellence in the arts.”

Murals everywhere!

Wabash Arts Corridor is responsible for oodles of extraordinary mural installations and here are a few of my handpicked findings.
