This newish bar and eatery in River North is a big hit in my book. The first floor offers exposed brick and a stunning wood bar, and I can’t say enough about the exceptional service. Centennial Crafted Beer & Eatery has an outstanding selection of 56 taps including 36 rotating craft beers. Trust me when I say there is something for every beer connoisseur. You will find flights, monthly features, and “coming soon” beers on the menu.
It’s still hard to believe that I consumed such a highly sought after beer on tap. “No Rules” is a Vietnamese Imperial Porter by Perrin Brewing with a 15% ABV. It was also pricey at $14 for a 9-oz snifter; however, it was worth every penny as this is one of the best beers I have ever tasted! It has me longing to become best friends with Perrin. http://www.perrinbrewing.com/our-beer/
I was so into the beer that I decided to order just a side dish, which was delicious in its own right. I had the Roasted Cauliflower and look forward to a full meal next time, as there are many tantalizing dishes on the menu.
Centennial Crafted Beer & Eatery is definitely going to be a staple of mine, especially since the location is so convenient. I’m really looking forward to sipping on the patio when the time is right.
Beer is Life. Indeed it is, Centennial, indeed it is….
