  • Meet The Blogger

I am a former Marine working full time, pursuing a degree in education, and a member of Veterans for Peace (Chicago) One of VFP's primary purposes is to abolish war as an instrument of national policy through non-violent actions.

In Chicago, we focus on demilitarizing Chicago Public Schools Chicago has the most militarized public school system in the country. Our children are too precious to waste on militarization.

My writing focuses on race as well as interracial relationships and love. As a former Marine, I also have an interest in national security and policies. As a human being, I have great concern for the social and political issues facing us all.
