Loyola Ramblers vs Cleveland State Vikings
The Loyola Ramblers are coming out their short hibernation and welcome in the Vikings of Cleveland State, the best team in the Horizon League. The Vikings hold an overall record of 18-4 and 8-2 in the Horizon League and relish the fact they are playing the dog of the conference, our Ramblers 5-16, 0-11 HL. Today’s game looks slim to end up being the one to break the winless conference record for Loyola. Tonight also opens up a three game homestand here at the Gentile Arena which is the longest of the year Loyola. Porter Moser and his guys love playing at home in front of the rowdy crowd, so this stretch is the one to get the elusive conference win.
Ben Averkamp has been scratched from the lineup ending his 61 consecutive game started streak. The Rowdies are trickling in so expect a fun crowd.
