First year head coach Porter Moser inherited a talented, not so athletic young Loyola team. On the verge of catastrophe after four losses to open up the season campaign, Porter got his Ramblers back on track and focused on picking up the pace for a successful and ultimately, winning season. Coming home to the Gentile Arena as well as solid play from Ben Averkamp emerged to be the top two reasons for the winning streak Loyola toyed with for four games.
Now after back-to-back Horizon League losses at home, the Ramblers are 5-9 overall and win less in conference play (0-4), entering a three game road stretch.
