RADIO: 670 the Score (DePaul) / WLUW, 88.7 FM (Chicago)

Keys to the Game for the Ramblers: Loyola has already faced Big Ten and 12 teams this year, so playing against a high caliber school is not foreign for this years squad nor for head coach Porter Moser. As a unit, the Ramblers have what it takes to stay in it with DePaul, but must find the type of balance to do so. In the lone home game of the year, Moser touched on this balance and was able to guide his team to a steady victory. The Gentile Arena may be the medicine the doctor ordered to help cure the Rambler losing funk.

Blue Demon Notables: Coming off a loss to Milwaukee, a fellow Horizon League member for Loyola, the Blue Demons will likely view this game against the Ramblers as way to make up for their loss. This extra intensity will force the Ramblers to act quickly, but can also backfire for DePaul.

Cleveland Melvin, a 6-8 Sophomore forward leads DePaul in scoring with an average of 18.3 points per game. Limiting his touches will likely fall in the hands of Ben Averkamp or Walt Gibler, both poised veteran players for the Ramblers.

With all the festivities set up, the atmosphere will be enjoyable for both sides. For alumni, seeing the 1963 NCAA Championship banner raised to the rafters should a special moment. All the hoopla should rile up the crowd to give Loyola every bit of home court advantage it can get.
