DePaul Blue Demons trek across town to the Loyola Ramblers

Wednesday’s contest against DePaul may be the light at the end of the tunnel for Loyola fans. After another losing stretch the Ramblers sit at an ugly 1-6, so coming home for a highly anticipated game against a cross town school should bring the team and students some joy. Seeing a packed Gentile Arena for the first tunnel may be the motivation that can spark this team around. As we already witnessed in the game against Fordham, the newly renovated arena can turn really loud and hostile.

While DePaul, a Big East member, is equipped with superior talent the game will still entertaining. As I have been tweeting all week, Loyola has quite a few events slated for halftime as well as before the game. Hop on over to the Rambler Hoops twitter page to see what is lined up. Also, the sole fact of playing at home in the gorgeous arena is good enough to feel good a midst the poor Rambler play.

If you cannot make it out to the Gentile Arena Wednesday, but would still like to be apart of the action, we’ve got you covered! A live game chat will be going  on prior to tip off to showcase all the festivities, as well as throughout the duration of the game to provided updates and periodic scores.  You can also chat with us and ask us any questions during the game as well. On the right side of the Rambler Hoops home page is a box for the chat, so put your email in if you’d like to get a pre-game reminder.

Look back tomorrow as well for a stats filled post that will go a bit more in depth to preview the cross town game.
