Mother’s Day is coming this Sunday. Now that my children are adults and earn their own money to purchase gifts, I don’t want them to spend so much on me. I am not rich, but I have enough, and I also do not want them to stress over finding the perfect gift for me. Here are the top two gifts they can give me on Mother’s Day:
- Time together- This is so simple; let’s go to a museum or a movie or even lunch together.
- Relaxation- This gift just means that no one stresses. Bring me my coffee and toast, a simple breakfast. Then let me spend some time just relaxing. Better yet, let’s spend some time relaxing together.
As a mother of three daughters, I have received many gifts over the years. Some were store bought, others were homemade, but all were treasured. Now all I want is time and a little relaxation with them.
