When my children were young, our family was together a few times a month. Now that our children are getting older and all of our lives are busy, we have other commitments that keep us all from being together as much as I would like. I can get lost in a day though looking through old photo albums, and watching old home movies. If I can’t see my family, maybe I can recall the good times that we had.
Now I even am reminded of the past from Facebook memories. I love looking at these glimpses of the past with people I care about. Of course even more than these memories, I love it when we can all gather for food, conversation and laughter. Even when everyone cannot all come, I am grateful for my family, for these memories and for more moments with my family. I know that life is lived in the little things.
All through my day, no matter where I go, or what I do, I am always looking for the good. I try to find the good in people, in the world, in my life or even just in my day.
