“Harold Moon” by Rachele Eve (twitter)

I’m new to Rachele Eve, but I’m in! Her voice and guitar serve as a lovely cradle for her lyrics and harmonies, and the imagery in the video calls to mind “Tonight, Tonight,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” and even “Mulholland Drive.”

“I Quit” by The Boy Illinois (twitter)

Great work from director Xack Gibson, who (seemingly) burns down a house around Boy Illinois, our favorite cardigan-wearing MC.

“Short Film (Djelem Djelem)” by Eyes Manouche (myspace)

This short by filmmaker Ratko Momcilovic documents the early 90s civil war in the former Yugoslavia, and the effect it had on three of Manouche’s five musicians. Beautiful doc, fantastic song.
