Well, look at that … this is my 100th post as The Job Stalker, having been at this for either 9 or 10 months, depending on how you want to count it, with my introductory post going up towards the end of last October, but my not “hitting the ground running” until late November. Frankly, this blog seem to be fated to be a bit “unstuck in time” as it appears to have pre-existed Chicago Now by a couple of weeks (no, I don’t know how that works, just the earliest posts by previous writer, Julie Wernau, are dated prior to the start of the site!). Go figure.
I had hoped to have had a very special 100th post that still was aligned to the “resource” theme of Wednesdays of late, but I ran into some inexplicable resistance with what would have been the subject of that, so I’m falling back on the easy concept of a “retrospective” of the first hundred posts. Now, before you start thinking “oh, Brendan’s being lazy”, it not only took a lot more time to work up the following listing, but it also serves a purpose. I’d noticed that one can’t just keep “backing up” through older posts past about 40 of them, and I’d recently been wanting to refer folks to some of the earlier posts, and was frustrated in that. I knew the posts were available (as some of Julie’s still show up on the traffic reports), but didn’t have a handy way of pointing folks to them … until I remembered that I’d given them all a bit.ly URL for posting links to Twitter.
So, the list that follows is all my The Job Stalker posts since when I took over this last fall … hope your find it handy (after the cut):

As I’ve noted previously, I never anticipated being unemployed this long … heck, I thought I was going to be back to work before I took over writing this. As much as I might enjoy penning these little missives to you all, I sure hope I get hired sooner than later and become “disqualified” for The Job Stalker gig!
