Frozen Tozen Ice Fishing Tournament Results

The 8th Annual Boulder Junction Frozen Tozen, held on Saturday, February 20th, was a great event thanks to the support of all our sponsors, donators, volunteers and participants. The Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce is very grateful to all who were involved in making this event fun for our community and visitors which is a fundraising event the Boulder Junction Area Boat Landing Improvement Fund!

The following awards for the ice fishing tournament on Allequash Lake were presented during the after party at Gooch’s A-1 Bar & Grill. 20 fish were caught throughout the day of which 17 were northern pike along with a bass, walleye and some perch.

Frozen Tozen Award with $100 cash payout for the largest fish of the day: Shirley Jacoby Woodruff, WI: 29.0 inches Northern Pike
1st place: Nick Herr, Burlington, WI: 55.50 inches caught
2nd place: Shirley Jacoby, Woodruff, WI: 43.125 total inches caught
3rd place: Mike Bowes, Wauconda, IL: 40.63 total inches caught

Team Award: Cody Catcher with a total of 80.95 inches. Team anglers were: Stanley Kuklinksi, Boulder Junction; Michael Gariepy, Germantown, WI, Andy Gariepy, Menomonee Falls, WI; Guy Rannow, Racine, Wi; Dan Denman, Burlington, WI and James Schultz, Vernon Hills, IL.

Congrats to our grand prize raffle winner, Tom Vizina, who won the Lowrance Elite – 4X Ice Machine/Depth Finder, a $300 Value. 87 other great raffle prizes were also awarded to ticket holders of the 1500 raffle tickets sold.
