Lakefront Brewery (Milwaukee, WI) has announced that it is rebranding in the coming months. The brewery’s logo and beer labels will undergo some pretty drastic changes, which you will see on shelves and on tap this summer.
“Successful brands live in a very narrow space,” said Lakefront Brewery Brand Manager, Michael Stodola. “Over the next 6 months, Lakefront fans will see our transformation. It’s more about dependability, fun and an honest day’s work.”
2017 marks Lakefront’s 30th anniversary, so this is actually a bit overdo in the grand scheme of things. Many organizations undergo branding tweaks like what you see below much sooner than that.
“Time to celebrate our success, our city and our fans,” says Owner and Co-Founder, Russ Klisch.
Here are the beer labels that will be seeing a face-lift in the near future.
Chris Johnson, Director of Business Development, also mentioned a few new beers that are on their way. “We’re starting a new Double IPA series kicking off in July, as well as a new Single Hop (SHOP) series. And look for a 30th anniversary beer, the Lakefront 30, and a Black Friday special reserve.”
As a former Milwaukeean, I can say that I’m excited for these changes. The folks at Lakefront are fantastic and their beers will always hold a special place in my heart.
