The week in review: Texas style

The week in review: Texas style
They say everything is bigger in Texas. As we’ve seen in the last few days, even their problems are bigger. You might even say they’re sized Texas-style. The entire country has been racked with weather-related issues since last Sunday. We’ve seen record amounts of cold, snow, and ice. It’s February…the heart of the winter. Most... Read more »

The Week in Review: Donald Trump's Insurrection

It started on Tuesday night, with the two Georgia Democrats winning their Senate run-off elections. This now gives the Democrats control of the new Senate. And we thought that would be the highlight of the week.
The first full week of the new year was nothing like we’ve ever seen in America. From the Democrats winning the Senate, in Georgia to the attack on the Capitol building, in Washington D.C., it was quite the start to the new year. Let’s take a look at the lowlights in the first 2021 edition... Read more »

This is what the 2021 Trump calendar should look like

January-Trump in jail
I just received an email from our lame-duck president. For a small donation, I can be among the first of his supporters to get the Trump calendar for next year. As a sweetener, he let me know that the beautiful photos were chosen by his wife Melanie. Well, I think I’ll keep my money and... Read more »

Is Donald Trump going to pardon his youngest son, Barron?

Is Donald Trump going to pardon his youngest son, Barron?
I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden. Talking about the Rose Garden, rumors are flying that pardons are being given out like candy on Halloween. It started last week with lyin’ Mike Flynn getting a free pass out of a prison sentence. Then the story that leaked throughout Pennsylvania Avenue is... Read more »

Joe Biden is a much nicer guy than me

Joe Biden is a much nicer guy than me
It’s Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s the final presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. If the rematch is anything like their first debate, it will be one wild and crazy night. The debate begins like a championship boxing match. The two of them are feeling each other out. They’re trying to see... Read more »

Sorry Michelle Obama, when they go low I can't go high

Monday was opening night for the 2020 Democratic convention. Last night’s featured speaker was former first lady, Michelle Obama. In her powerful eighteen-minute speech, she took on the current president. Included among her talking points were pointing out how many Americans have been lost because of the administration’s inept Covid-19 plan, how we need to be ready... Read more »

Is Eric Trump really as dumb as SNL portrays him?

Is Eric Trump really as dumb as SNL portrays him?
Eric Trump has been my favorite of Don’s children. I don’t count Tiffany and we media types aren’t suppose to acknowledge the little boy living on Pennsylvania Avenue, so I only consider the first three for my ratings. Eric isn’t as blatant about his greed as his sister, Ivanka, who has made more than one... Read more »

    Howard Moore

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
