Classic albums from 1971 are now fifty years old. Are you still listening to them?

1971 was a great year in the genre of classic rock. We still had artists from the British Invasion era making music, while at the same time we witnessed the start of the singer-songwriter era. There was a lot of something for everyone.

The albums from that year will reach the fifty-year mark in 2021. Here are twelve records that are considered classics. How many of them are you still listening to today?

*During the course of the year, I’ll review these albums plus others from 1971 to see if they still hold up and are relevant.*

Every five years or so I decide to update this section. I can't believe I've been doing this for close to ten years. The last time I did this I was close to sixty years old. Now I'm just a few months away from the big 7-ZERO. Scary AF!!! I'm pretty sure I won't be doing an update when I hit 80, but you never know. But until then, lets just be grateful.
