Woodstock at 50: It's about the music

When you think about Woodstock, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? It should be the music. There has never been an event where so many legendary artists performed.

Thirty-three acts played over the three-plus days. The performances were relatively short; most ranging from forty-five minutes to one hour. The two exceptions were Jefferson Airplane and Jimi Hendrix. Both played early morning sets on Sunday and Monday. Hendrix’s two hour act ended the festival.

Here’s a look at ten great musical performances from the Woodstock Festival:

Every five years or so I decide to update this section. I can't believe I've been doing this for close to ten years. The last time I did this I was close to sixty years old. Now I'm just a few months away from the big 7-ZERO. Scary AF!!! I'm pretty sure I won't be doing an update when I hit 80, but you never know. But until then, lets just be grateful.
