A Tribute To BB King

Sad news in the music industry. On Friday, it was announced legendary blues guitarist BB King was placed in home hospice.

King, age 89, is considered one of the most important Blues musicians of all time. Among those he influenced are Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

In a career that lasted 65 years, King put out more than 40 albums and performed 250-300 concerts a year into his 70’s. Until recently he was still doing over 100 concerts a year.

BB King is a member of the Blues and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Known as ‘The King of the Blues” BB King will be missed. This is a celebration of his life and music.

If you need some more music, here’s a celebration of Eric Clapton’s 70th birthday with his best tunes.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
