The 10 Best Albums Of The 1970's

I was watching a video of Traffic’s “Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys” and one of the comments said it was the best album of the 70’s. I was pretty sure that was overstated but I thought what are the best albums of the 70’s?

I checked out five Best of lists and narrowed it down to twenty-five. Then it got tough. One rule is only one album per band.

I had to leave off albums by George Harrison, Carole King, Neil Young and David Bowie. Plus a Best of list without Springsteen, Dylan, Simon & Gar and CSN&Y…blasphemy.

Well…you have to draw the line somewhere. Here’s my Top 10. I’m sure you’ll have suggestions so comments are more than welcome, as always.

My so called friends think it's time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don't tell them that. I'll deny it until they die! I can't believe I've been writing this blog for four years. It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don't know how to describe it anymore. I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we're good for four more years..God help us all! Oh yeah...the biographical stuff. I'm not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
